VET RESPONSE VETERINARY DIET WEIGHT-BALANCE is a complete diet food for adult cats recommended for weight loss. Food is low in energy. The recipe was prepared by independent scientists from Poland and abroad at the Pupil Institute of Animal Nutrition, which consists of veterinarians, animal feed specialists and behaviorists.

A cat is overweight if its weight is 20-30% more than recommended. Over 30%, we are dealing with obesity, which is not only an aesthetic problem. In addition to the graceful movement problems characteristic of this species, the cat is exposed to many diseases such as pancreatitis, diabetes, fatty liver disease, heart disease, circulatory disorders, kidney failure, joint degeneration, spinal disc disease and even cancer. An obese cat also has reduced immunity, making it particularly vulnerable to infections.

However, it happens that despite an excellent diet, the cat gains weight. This is usually caused by hormonal disturbances, e.g. after spaying or neutering, when the animal’s metabolism slows down. Weight gain can also be a result of too little physical activity, especially in people who only stay at home. Encourage your cat to move, play with him, arrange attractions to activate your pet. Cats are great at coaxing food with their pleading eyes, so don’t give in to that sweet pressure. By overfeeding your pet, you contribute to its obesity. A cat’s age also affects weight gain. This is associated with less and less activity of the animal.

VET RESPONSE VETERINARY WEIGHT-BALANCE wet food is a complete diet food for adult cats, recommended for reducing excess body weight. Wet cat food is characterized by a high protein content, which does not provide the cat with excess energy, but allows for safe weight loss, i.e. burning fat tissue, while maintaining muscle mass. Adding easy-to-digest chicken and liver, which cats love to taste, and hearts create a food that cats can’t resist. So they eat healthily and with appetite. L-carnitine and antioxidant (vitamin E) support safe weight loss. Brown rice does not burden the digestive system and increases the feeling of satiety due to its high fiber content. It also has a low glycemic index and stabilizes blood sugar levels. It is also an excellent source of calcium, iron, selenium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin E and B6. Taurine, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the cat’s body, supports the contractility of muscles, including the heart muscle.

The food supplies your cat’s body with all the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals, and also moisturizes the body perfectly, as it is characterized by high humidity, so you can use it not only during the diet, but also for long-term preventive purposes. Always consult your veterinarian before feeding. The food is also characterized by high digestibility, which is the most important parameter of food quality, and it is easy to notice by the correct consistency of the cat’s excrement. High digestibility indicates a very good absorption of nutrients, which is especially important for animals on veterinary feed.
