Always ensure the availability of fresh drinking water. Cold-pressed food is characterized by so-called “dust” or pellet crumbs – this is not a manufacturing defect. It has the same composition and nutritional value as the pellets and occurs during the production process. It can be given together with the pellets or mixed with water to form a mushy mixture. Give the pellets according to the animal’s condition and body weight, and always ensure fresh water. Do not use measuring cups meant for extruded feed, because cold-pressed food is significantly denser – base it on weight (see the recommended table).
