Dr Malou Duck with Goat Milk & Egg Yolk is a complete freeze-dried food for small-breed puppies. The duck-rich recipe, combined with goat’s milk, egg yolk, fish oil and a prebiotic, provides a growing dog with high-quality animal protein, fats and essential vitamins and minerals.

Freeze-drying helps preserve the ingredients’ natural taste, aroma and nutritional value. The recipe contains no grains, gluten, meat meal or artificial preservatives.

• duck liver and hearts (16%) – naturally nutrient-rich ingredients containing vitamins and minerals;

Freeze-dried food – natural taste in a convenient form

During freeze-drying, moisture is removed from the ingredients at a low temperature. This helps preserve the natural taste and a large proportion of the nutritional value of the raw ingredients without conventional high-temperature heat treatment.

59% crude protein provides high-quality animal protein, while the 25% fat content supplies an active puppy with energy. The recipe also contains minerals, vitamins and trace elements needed by a growing body.

Omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA, from fish oil support the puppy’s normal development. Vitamins A, D3 and E, B vitamins, as well as iron, zinc, copper, manganese and iodine, help meet the daily nutritional needs of a growing dog.

Dr Malou freeze-dried food can be served in different ways:

• dry – as a complete meal or in suitably sized pieces as a reward;
• rehydrated with water – as a soft and aromatic complete meal.

If you use the food as a reward, include the amount given in the puppy’s total daily food intake.

Feeding instructions

A puppy’s daily food requirement depends on its age, growth rate, activity level and expected adult weight. Regularly monitor the puppy’s body condition and adjust the amount of food as needed.

Food prepared with water should be consumed within 2 hours. Store the package in a dry place and keep it tightly sealed, and always ensure that the puppy has free access to fresh drinking water.
