Natural recipe – designed with dogs’ natural needs in mind

The combination of duck and rabbit provides plenty of high-quality animal protein and, together with nutrient-rich organ meats, egg yolk, fish oil and flaxseeds, creates a balanced daily meal. Freeze-drying helps preserve the ingredients’ natural taste, aroma and nutritional value. The recipe contains no grains, meat meal, artificial colours or preservatives.

Meat-rich and carefully selected ingredients

Dr Malou Duck & Rabbit contains:

  • duck and rabbit meat (70%) – a source of high-quality, highly digestible animal proteins that help maintain muscle mass and good physical condition;
  • duck hearts and rabbit liver (22%) – naturally nutrient-rich ingredients containing, among other nutrients, vitamins A and B12, iron and zinc;
  • egg yolk (5%) – a natural source of valuable amino acids, fats and vitamins;
  • fish oil (1%) – contains valuable omega-3 fatty acids;
  • flaxseeds (1%) – a source of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids and fibre;
  • vitamins and minerals – a balanced combination to meet an adult dog’s daily nutritional needs.

High-protein complete food

Dr Malou Duck & Rabbit contains 60% crude protein, which helps maintain an adult dog’s muscle mass and supports the body’s normal recovery.

The 25% fat content provides the energy a dog needs for daily exercise and an active life. Fatty acids from fish oil and flaxseeds help support the normal condition of the skin and coat. The recipe also contains vitamins, minerals and trace elements needed by adult dogs.

How to serve Dr Malou freeze-dried food?

The food can be served in two ways:

Dry – Serve directly from the package as a complete daily meal.

Rehydrated with water – Add warm water to the food and allow it to soften. Adding water makes the food soft and aromatic and may make it particularly appealing even to more selective dogs.

After adding water, the food should be consumed within 2 hours. Store the package in a dry place and keep it tightly sealed, and always ensure that your dog has free access to fresh drinking water.
